Well, I made Pot Butter last night.
I've made it several times before, but I hadn't photographed it for the blog, so this time I captured it.
Now I can share it with you. You'll find the recipe here, with plenty of pictures to help you do it right.
You're going to need pot butter for lots of the recipes that follow. It's much easier to use it than to use the pot directly and it produces a much better finished product, too. We'll be coming back to this frequently.
I've made a few different things so far, and photographed many of them, but we needed the pot butter first since you can't make cookies without butter. I am also experimenting with other things, such as Pot Wine. My first test batch of pot wine was really fantastic. Everybody loved it and wanted more. I only made a couple quarts at first, just to see how it came out. There's no sense in making 5 gallons if it's nasty, right?
Over the next few weeks I'll start getting some of these recipes posted for you to try out.
If you've got any interesting recipes or ideas, post them in the comments below. If you have any trouble let me know through the 'Contact me' form. I'll answer as fast as I can.
Thanks muchly and here's hoping you have a blast!
